Path of the reincarnations for a song: Summer Wine

Do YOU fear your karma? You should. Redemption in the next life – what a magnificent way to screw things up in this one, yet become a better, greater, god-like & so on person… after just a few centuries.
Music has it’s own way throughout history. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always lead to new heights. Cover versions are often considered to express an artist lack of own ideas (?!). Why not expression of admiration… moreover, some songs just.. need.. another chance. (Yeah, yeah, „only the one who wrote it can feel it, original is best…“)
And finally, even songs need a change sometimes – why not switch over to another genre?
But I think I got carried away with the controversy.
