So here I am, savoring my vegan breakfast on my second vegan day. I have a good feeling about it. Take a look at the video of The Knife and Pass this on – it is so surreal, it makes you think you can jump out of the window and fly. Despite the melancholic space mood the music of the Knife (now present as Fever Ray) brings me in, I feel optimistic about it – becoming vegan. Yes, I have decided for myself and have committed myself to the change. But I won’t be reporting what I eat every day. There are websites on the net where you can find much more comprehensive information on veganism and the vegan diet.

Have you heard the new Junior Boys album? It’s really cool. I heard it on a sunny day in a record store where they had tanning beds outside with headphones playing the album. you could get your favorite coffee speciality and sit and sun and dream.

Recently a carnival is said to have taken place in Kreuzberg – The multinational carnival of the cultures. I was a little bit skeptical about it (they promote it on the same billboards where they promote Phil Collins concerts) first and… remained disappointed till the end. WHat the organization calls the multicultural foods and beverages market turned out to be different forms of Vodka/Red Bull cocktails, Caipirinha and Sex on the beach sold by foreigners speaking German with either Spanish, Balkan or Nigerian accent. The only thing I can say was really good was the Italian espresso (surprise?!).

What’s the big fuss about the European parliament elections? Ok, I have to admit that I am going to vote and if you haven’t considering voting, do it quickly and go sign to choose better future for Europe! I will do another post on this topic, there are a couple of videos I’d like to share with you.
